User groups
Features
You can create user groups to manage accounts based on dimensions such as subsidiaries, departments, or projects.
The new version of Enterprise Finance was published in batches at 12:00 on August 1, 2022 (UTC+8). The old version is no longer updated. Upgrade to the new version promptly. For more information, see Upgrade from Enterprise Finance to Enterprise Management.
Create a user group
Procedure

Log on to the Expenses and Costs console.

In the navigation pane on the left, under Enterprise Finance - Account Linking, click User Group. On the page that opens, find the directory tree on the left. The root name is the verified enterprise name of the Alibaba Cloud account.

Click
next to the enterprise name of your Alibaba Cloud account. -
In the Create User Group dialog box, enter a name for the user group and click Confirm.
Result
After the user group is created, its name appears in the directory tree on the left.
Edit a user group
Procedure

Log on to the Expenses and Costs console.

In the navigation pane on the left, under Enterprise Finance - Account Linking, click User Group. On the page that opens, find the user group that you want to edit in the directory tree on the left.

Click
next to the name of the user group that you want to edit. -
In the Edit User Group dialog box, change the user group name and click Confirm.
Result
After you edit the user group name, it is updated in the directory tree on the left.
Delete a user group
Procedure

Log on to the Expenses and Costs console.

In the left-side menu, select Enterprise Finance - Account Linking, click User Group, and then locate the user group to delete in the tree directory on the left.

Click
next to the name of the user group that you want to delete. -
In the Delete User Group dialog box, click Confirm.
Result

After a user group is deleted, it is no longer displayed in the directory tree on the left.

The accounts that were in the group are moved to the Ungrouped list.
Group accounts
Procedure

Log on to the Expenses and Costs console.

In the navigation pane on the left, under Corporate Finance-Account Linking, click User Group.

Click the name of the enterprise-verified Alibaba Cloud account or the name of the user group.

To assign an account, select it from the account list on the right and click "Account Grouping".

In the Account Group dialog box, select the target user group and click Confirm.
Result
The accounts are moved from the source user group to the destination user group.
