Features

You can manage account relationships, including changing, dissociating, and deleting them.

Important

The new Enterprise Finance feature was rolled out in batches starting at 12:00 on August 1, 2022 (UTC+8). The previous version is no longer updated. We recommend that you upgrade to the new version promptly. For more information, see Upgrade from Enterprise Finance to Enterprise Management.

Instructions

After you log on, you can view your list of linked accounts.

Note: If the 'Main' icon appears to the right of an account ID, it indicates that the currently logged-on account is the linked account in the relationship, and the other account is the inviting account.

Other information:

  • The relationship modification time is updated each time the relationship status changes.

  • Possible relationship statuses are Pending Confirmation, Pending Approval, Established, and Not Established. The Established status includes the Normal, Pending Change Confirmation, and Pending Change Approval sub-statuses. The Not Established status includes the Approval Rejected, Association Denied by Linked Account, and Dissociated sub-statuses.

  • The available operations in the list vary based on the relationship type, status, and permissions.

  • Other features on the account list page include Search, Upgrade, Dissociate, Settings, Re-associate, Delete, and Batch Set Permissions, as shown in the figure:

Search

  • You can search by linked account name or linked account display name.

Upgrade

  • The main account can initiate an upgrade to change the relationship from Financial Management to finance trusteeship.

  • After you upgrade to finance trusteeship, the relationship cannot be reverted to Financial Management. To return to a Financial Management relationship, you must first dissociate the accounts and then re-establish the relationship.

  • The upgrade feature is not yet fully available. To upgrade, contact your Alibaba Cloud representative or submit a ticket.

Dissociate

Settings

  • The main account can reset the permissions that are granted to the linked account.

  • The new permissions take effect only after the linked account confirms them.

Re-associate

  • After the accounts are dissociated, the main account can re-associate them.

Delete

  • The main account can delete the linked account after the accounts are dissociated.

Note

Deleting a linked account only removes it from the main account's invitation list. This operation does not close the linked account. For information about how to close an account, see Account Closure Instructions.

Batch set permissions

  • The main account can set permissions for multiple linked accounts at once.

  • The new permissions take effect only after the linked accounts confirm them.
