The Optical Character Recognition (OCR) service accepts HTTP and HTTPS requests. Request parameters are included in the URL. Both requests and responses are encoded in the UTF-8 character set.

The following example shows an unencoded URL request:
https://ocr.cn-shanghai.aliyuncs.com/?Action=RecognizeBankCard&<Common request parameters>
  • https: The communication protocol for the request.
  • ocr.cn-shanghai.aliyuncs.com: The endpoint of the OCR service.
  • cn-shanghai: The region (RegionId). For a list of supported domain names, see Endpoints.
  • Action=RecognizeBankCard: The API operation to call.
  • <Common request parameters>: The common request parameters that are used in all API operations for visual intelligence services. For more information, see Common request parameters.
