Playback Data Statistics

ApsaraVideo VOD uses client-side data from ApsaraVideo Player to provide playback behavior statistics and popular resource rankings.

Usage notes

The statistical analysis dashboard collects playback data only for media files played through accelerated domain names in ApsaraVideo VOD. Playback data for files accessed directly through OSS URLs is not collected.
Only playbacks through ApsaraVideo Player SDKs are tracked. To use this feature, enable license-based authorization and log reporting: License-based authorization and license management, Enable tracking log reporting for iOS, and Enable tracking log reporting for Android.

Log on to the ApsaraVideo VOD console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Center > Data Monitoring > Statistical Analysis.

Select the item and metrics to view, and click Search.

Statistical analysis

The following table lists available items, metrics, and time ranges.

Top Data	Top 100 most-played videos. Query up to 1,000 through API operations.	Yesterday and a custom time range
Video Playback Statistics	Video ID, video name, video duration, total viewers, total views, average playback duration, total playback duration, and average video views per viewer.	Yesterday, Custom (within 365 days)

Note

Playback data appears 2 to 6 hours after generation.
