The WUYING Workspace desktop client includes the Windows client and the macOS client for connecting to WUYING Workspace.

Important

This topic uses the macOS client V7.13 and the Enterprise Edition as examples. If your experience differs, you may be using a different client or an outdated version. Upgrade to the latest version. For the Personal Edition, see Personal Cloud Computer.

  1. Select the client edition. You can switch between Enterprise Edition & Business Edition and Individual Edition.

  2. Enter your organization ID or workspace ID.

  3. Switch the logon method.

  4. Access more settings:

    • Connection Type: Defaults to Internet access. Switch to a private network connection based on administrator configuration.

    • Logon Guide: Helps you select the right client edition.

    • Settings: Opens the Settings window for general configuration.

    • Help: Opens online documentation.

    • About: View version and check for updates.

  1. Enter your username.

  2. Enter your password.

  3. With automatic logon enabled, you do not need to re-enter credentials for a period after a successful logon.

  4. If your initial password has expired or you forgot your custom password, click Forgot Password to get a new initial password.

Cloud resource list interface

  1. Cloud resource card. Perform operations such as starting, stopping, restarting, or updating a cloud computer.

  2. Log off.

  3. Search for cloud computers. Supports fuzzy search.

  4. Refresh the cloud resource list.

  5. Notification Center. View event messages.

  6. Personal Center. Access account information, settings, and product suggestions.

The Personal Center provides access to features such as Account Information, Settings, and Product Suggestions.

The Notification Center has three message types: Campaigns, Management Messages, and System Messages.

Management capabilities of the Enterprise Edition desktop client

WUYING Workspace Enterprise Edition supports terminal management. An Enterprise Edition administrator can register employees' desktop clients to the organization and use terminal policies to manage the client experience. Enterprise Edition administrators can group managed clients and assign different terminal policies to each group.

Immersive mode settings

Immersive mode

Disabled by default. When enabled, only the client interface is visible on the local device running the Windows client, providing an immersive cloud computer experience without local desktop distractions.

Note

This feature is in invitational preview. To use it, ask your Enterprise Edition administrator to submit a ticket to request access.

  • Activation: After an Enterprise Edition administrator changes immersive mode in a policy, log off, log on again, and restart your local computer.

  • Scope: Organization-level enablement applies to all users. Terminal-level enablement applies to a specific client and takes priority over the organization level.

  • Effects: Modifies local Windows registry. Some local applications, such as Task Manager and browsers, become inaccessible.

  • Troubleshooting: If the setting does not take effect, local security software may be blocking it.
