Assign task owners manually or by using automation rules.
Projex supports two assignment methods: manual assignment and assignment by automation rule.
Manual assignment
To manually assign a task, edit the assignee field to find and select a user. The search is limited to enterprise users.
Automation rule
Configure automatic assignments with an Automation rules.
For example, in the Add Automation Rule dialog box, you can set a trigger condition that activates when the label of a Product Requirement is updated to include Marketing. The action changes the status to Pending and sets the assignee to a specific member. In the member selection panel, you can select the assignee by user, work item role, or copy value from work item.
