You can create requirements by importing data from a file.

Import data

On the Requirements list page, click the Import Data entry next to the New button in the upper-right corner.

Download template

Select a data import template. Projex matches the template to the selected requirement type.

Available template types are product requirement and technical requirement. After selecting a template, you can select the Include sub-work items checkbox. Click Download Template. The template fields include title (required), description, parent ID, parent title, state (To Do, Designing, Developing, Testing, Done, or Canceled), owner (required), priority (required: Urgent, High, Medium, or Low), iteration, and participant.

Upload data

After filling in the template, click Upload File and select the file. The page displays the upload progress, and the system automatically validates the data format.

Note
  • Only the .xlsx format is supported. Ensure the worksheet is formatted correctly, as the system parses data based on this structure.

  • Each file must not exceed 10,000 work items or 10 MB.

After the upload, you can view the results in Batch Operations. For any failed items, you can download the corresponding file to edit and re-upload.
