This article shows you how to export a Word document and explains the differences between the exported file and the original online document.
Export path
In the upper-right corner of the document page, click the More menu (the three-dot icon). Select Export as, then select one of the following formats: Print PDF, Export Markdown, Export Word, or Export HTML.
Format differences
Due to formatting limitations, the exported Word document differs from the online document in the following ways:
1. Checklists appear as unordered lists.
2. Quotes appear as normal paragraphs.
3. Attachments, web bookmarks, and related content (such as tasks, files, folders, Gist code, and Framer prototypes) appear as hyperlinks.
4. All text appears in black, regardless of the original text color.
5. Some images may extend beyond the page margin.
