Projex provides independent workflow configurations, automatic webhook updates integrated with Codeup, and efficient automation rules to optimize project management and collaboration efficiency.

Workflow

Projex lets you configure independent workflows for different work item types, such as requirements, tasks, bugs, and risks. You can use a two-dimensional table to set state transition rules and define detailed operation rules for state changes.

  • You can add or delete states in a workflow. When you add a state, it is categorized and sorted by stage. When you delete a state, its corresponding transition relationships are also removed. For more information, see Workflow configuration.

  • You can set required fields, permission restrictions, and transition restrictions for related items in the workflow to standardize work item state changes. For more information, see Workflow state transition restriction rules.

Webhook

  • Projex supports integration with development tools. It currently integrates with Codeup to automatically update work items based on the status of code commits and merge requests.

  • Configuring and managing the Secret Token requires project configuration management permissions. After regenerating the token, you must update it promptly to ensure the event listener functions correctly.

For more information, see Webhook configuration instructions.

Automation rules

Benefits of automation rules: Automation rules reduce manual maintenance costs, improve collaboration efficiency, and ensure the timeliness and accuracy of operations such as requirement status updates, owner assignments, and task reminders.

Scenarios and operations: Automation rules are suitable for scenarios such as automatic state transitions, automatic requirement assignments, automatic property changes, and automatic reminders. You can configure rules by setting triggering events, execution conditions, and actions. You can use templates to simplify rule creation.

For more information, see Automation rules.
