Invite an unverified Alibaba Cloud account to an organization using an invitation code
An enterprise invitation code is a unique code that allows an Alibaba Cloud account to join an organization. An Alibaba Cloud account that receives the code can join the organization through account affiliation. You can reuse the invitation code. For security, you can also reset the code. This topic describes how a super administrator invites an unverified Alibaba Cloud account to an organization.
Background information
A super administrator can also use an enterprise invitation code to change the verified entity of another enterprise account to match their own and add the account to the organization. This does not apply to sole proprietorships. You can then manage the account on the Account Group page.
Procedure
Log on to the Account Center as the super administrator. Under My Entity, select Enterprise Real-name Information to go to the Enterprise Information page.
Copy the invitation code and send it to an unverified Alibaba Cloud account. The account can use the code to request to join your organization. After joining, the account automatically completes enterprise identity verification. Its verified entity becomes the same as your enterprise's entity.
Log on to the Account Center with the unverified Alibaba Cloud account.
On the Account Affiliation page, enter the enterprise invitation code and click Initiate Now.
Read and agree to the affiliation request notice, and then click Start Request.
Select an administrator account for review, enter a description for the request, and click Confirm and Initiate.
The request is sent. Wait for the administrator to review it.
Log on to the Account Center with the administrator account that you selected for review. On the Overview page, navigate to the Account Tasks page.
In the task list, find the request and click Process Now in the Actions column to approve the request to join the organization.
After the affiliation is complete, the unverified Alibaba Cloud account automatically completes enterprise identity verification. Its verified entity becomes the same as the entity of the administrator account. The administrator can manage the account on the Account Group page.
