ACK One Fleet offers the Global Cost Analysis feature. This feature aggregates cost data from your associated clusters, providing a unified view for cost analysis and optimization in a multi-cluster environment. This topic describes how to enable the feature.
Prerequisites
-
You have enabled fleet management. For more information, see Enable fleet management.
-
You have added multiple associated clusters to the Fleet instance. For more information, see Manage associated clusters.
-
You have enabled cost insights for each associated cluster. For more information, see Enable cost insights. For registered clusters, see Cluster cost insights.
Procedure
-
Log on to the ACK One console. In the navigation pane on the left, choose .
-
On the Global Cost Analysis page, click Enable Global Cost Analysis in the upper-right corner and then click OK.
-
In the navigation pane on the left of the console, choose .
-
On the Associated Clusters page, find the target cluster. In the Globally Observability column, click and then click OK.
-
After the cluster is added to Globally Observability, its status changes to Added. You can then view its dashboard on the Global Cost Analysis page.
Features
The Global Cost Analysis page provides dashboards that visualize costs from four perspectives. You can switch between tabs to view the aggregated cost data of your associated clusters. For more information about the dashboards, see Cost insights overview.
