Activate modules

Activate MSHA

1. Go to the MSHA activation page.

2. On the activation page, select the Product Type and Product Specification.

   Product specification type	Description	Supported product modules

3. Read and accept the Multi-Site High Availability Terms of Service, and then click Activate Now.

Configure MSHA

After you activate MSHA, you are automatically redirected to the Product Module Configuration page.

1. On the Product Module Configuration page, you can configure the activation region.

   Note

   You must select at least one region. The activation check fails if no region is selected. Subsequent configurations depend on the selected region.

2. Configure the product modules.

   For more information about the product modules that MSHA supports, see List of modules supported by MSHA.

   Access layer	Provides unified traffic access and ensures disaster recovery scheduling for inbound traffic.	Single region Dual region
   EDAS service	A disaster recovery module for the EDAS service framework. It ensures disaster recovery scheduling for HSF services.	Single region
   Spring Cloud service	A disaster recovery module for the Spring Cloud service framework. It ensures disaster recovery scheduling for Spring Cloud services.	Single region Dual region
   Dubbo service	A disaster recovery module for the Dubbo service framework. It ensures disaster recovery scheduling for Dubbo services.	Single region Dual region

3. Click Pricing Calculator in the Estimated Cost section to estimate the daily cost.

   Note

   For more information about the billing rules, see MSHA product billing.

4. On the Activate Modules page, click Save Configuration.

Upgrade and downgrade MSHA product specifications

Upgrade

If the current product specification does not meet your needs, you can upgrade it to access more advanced features.

1. In the MSHA console, in the left navigation pane, choose Multi-site High Availability Basics > Activate Modules.

2. On the Activate Modules page, under Product Specification Type, click Change Configuration.

3. On the product specification purchase page, complete the upgrade.

4. Return to the Activate Modules page in the MSHA console. Select the target version to complete the configuration.

Downgrade

1. In the MSHA console, in the navigation pane on the left, choose Multi-site High Availability Basics > Activate Modules.

2. On the Activate Modules page, in the Product Specification Type section, click Change Configuration.

3. On the product specification purchase page, complete the downgrade.

4. Return to the Activate Modules page in the MSHA console and complete the configuration by selecting the target version.
