Quick BI connection

Procedure

1. Log in to the Quick BI console.
2. In the top navigation bar, click Workbench.
3. In the My Workspaces section, click the target workspace.
   Note If you need to create a new workspace, see Create and manage workspaces.
4. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Construction > Data Source.
5. On the Select Data Source page, click Alibaba AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL.
6. Click Add Data Source.
7. On the Configure Connection page, set the following parameters:
   Note To connect to the database over a public network, you must add the Quick BI IP addresses to the database whitelist.

   On the data source configuration page, click Copy Whitelist to get the Quick BI IP addresses.

   Parameter	Description
   Name	A name for the data source.
   Database Address	The endpoint of the AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL instance.
   Port	The endpoint's port number.
   Database	The database name.
   Schema	The schema name.
   Username	The username for the database account.
   Password	The password for the database account.

8. After you set the parameters, click Test Connection. If the test passes, click OK to add the data source.
   Note If the connection fails, check that the parameters are correct and try again.
