This topic explains how to create, design, edit, and delete Messenger templates.
Prerequisites
Ensure you have connected a Facebook Page. For more information, see Facebook Page.
Create a template
Follow these steps to create a template.
Log on to the Chat App Message Service console. Choose Channel Management in the left navigation pane. Click the Channel ID of the Messenger channel that you want to manage.

Go to the Template Design page and click Add.

In the dialog box, configure the settings as required, and then click OK to complete the creation. In the Add dialog box, configure Template Name, Message Type, Content Type, and Language, and then click OK.
NoteAfter creating the template, you are automatically redirected to the edit page to design it. For instructions, see Design a template.
Design a template
After creating a template, follow these steps to design it. For instructions on creating a template, see Create a template.

Design the template content according to the on-page prompts, which depend on the content type you selected. In the Settings panel on the right, enter your content in the body content (required) section. You can click insert variable to add dynamic parameters. The body content cannot exceed 640 characters.

When you have finished the design, click Save.
Edit a template
Follow these steps to edit a template.
Log on to the Chat App Message Service console. Choose Channel Management in the left navigation pane. Click the Channel ID of the Messenger channel that you want to manage.

Go to the Template Design page, find the template you want to edit, and click Edit.

Edit the template content as needed and click Save.
Delete a template
Follow these steps to delete a template.
Log on to the Chat App Message Service console. Choose Channel Management in the left navigation pane. Click the Channel ID of the Messenger channel that you want to manage.

Go to the Template Design page, find the template you want to delete, and click Delete. In the confirmation dialog box, click OK.
