If your Cloud Web Hosting configuration no longer meets your site's needs, you can upgrade the host to increase data storage and improve site access speed. To keep your site running, renew your Cloud Web Hosting instance before it expires. This prevents the host from being released, which would disrupt your business.
Upgrade a Cloud Web Hosting instance
Before you upgrade a Cloud Web Hosting instance, note the following:
Billing rule: This refers to the fees for upgrading a Cloud Web Hosting instance, including how the prorated cost is calculated before and after the upgrade. For more information, see Upgrade billing rules.
Supported host types: To upgrade a Cloud Web Hosting instance, you must meet certain rules for the operating system, data center location, and purchase time. Make sure you understand the upgrade scope for Cloud Web Hosting products beforehand. For more information, see Hosts that support upgrades.

After you upgrade a Cloud Web Hosting instance, the automatic data migration might fail. The data on the original host is retained for only 7 days and cannot be recovered after this period. Back up the data on your original host beforehand. For instructions, see Back up and recover data.
Renew a Cloud Web Hosting instance
If a Cloud Web Hosting instance expires, your site becomes inaccessible. To continue using the host, you must renew it within the specified period.
