Task management facilitates the oversight of governance item type and push type tasks within data asset administration. This topic outlines the procedures for viewing task details, rerunning tasks, and accessing logs.
Manage tasks

Navigate to the Dataphin home page, select Administration > Resource Administration from the top menu bar.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose Governance Item Management > Task Management to access the Task Management page. The modules for managing Push Type and Governance Item Type tasks are similar. For illustration, Governance Item Type tasks will be used as an example.

On the Task Management page, you can oversee both push type and governance item type tasks.
You can quickly filter tasks by entering keywords in the search box, or by clicking the
icon and selecting Owner, Data Timestamp, Executed On, and Task Status.-
Task Name: The designated name of the task.

Owner: The individual or entity responsible for the task.

Task Status: Reflects the current execution status of the task, with possible states including:

Succeeded: Indicates successful completion as reported by the CDN mapping system.

Failed: Signifies a failure as reported by the CDN mapping system.

Init: The initial status during the daily instantiation process within the asset administration module.

Executing: Indicates that the task is actively being processed by the CDN mapping system, which is concurrently providing feedback to the asset administration module.

Stopped: The status when a task has been paused within the CDN mapping system.

Data Timestamp: The timestamp associated with the metadata and logs for the current task's execution.

Executed On: The actual date when the task was executed.

Within the task list, you can execute various operations on the desired task, such as rerun, pause, view details, and access logs.

View task details: To inspect the specifics of a task, including its name, governance realm, governance object, owner, diagnostic cycle, description, and rules, click the Actions icon in the corresponding task column.View

Rerun task: Enables the rerunning of tasks in Failed or Stopped status. Following a rerun, the task status updates to Executing and, upon successful completion, to Succeeded.

Pause node: Allows for the pausing and subsequent rerunning of nodes currently in the executing status. To pause a node, single click the Actions icon in the node's rerun column.

View task logs: To examine a task's operational logs, single click the More icon in the Actions column of the relevant task and select Logs.
