-
Project: A project corresponds to a visualization screen. Each edition has a project quota. To increase the quota, purchase an extension package. For example, the Enterprise Edition includes 20 projects. To create a 21st project, you must purchase an extension package.
-
Workspace: A workspace functions as an independent console. You can assign workspaces to different developers so they can create their own projects with isolated data. Each workspace can have a unique data source. However, the total number of projects across all workspaces cannot exceed the limit of your edition. For example, if Developer A creates 15 projects, Developer B can create up to 5 projects without purchasing an extension package.
-
Visualization widget: A visualization screen consists of multiple widgets that you can configure to design your layout. DataV also provides a custom widget development feature for building your own widgets.
-
Local deployment: Also known as private deployment, local deployment is available only in the Premium Edition. You can package and download pages developed in DataV and deploy them on your corporate intranet. The entire deployment runs offline with full data isolation to ensure security. The Premium Edition includes deployment authorization for 100 servers (hardware not included).
-
Custom development: The Premium Edition supports custom development of visualization pages by writing JavaScript code (hook scripts), enabling complex interactions within a project. It provides greater freedom and flexibility than the blueprint editor. For more information, see Custom development.
