Is a reward guaranteed if a customer uses a coupon?

Coupons are promotional tools for Cloud Ambassadors. The ambassador-customer relationship is based on the customer's logon association, not coupon activity. A reward is granted for a valid purchase even if a claimed coupon is not used. However, no reward is granted if a coupon is used for an ineligible product.
