• 13. How long does it usually take for an ICP filing to be approved?

1. After I purchase a domain name, how do I know if I need an ICP filing?

• If your website server is in the Hangzhou node, you need an ICP filing. You can submit an ICP filing application in the Alibaba Cloud ICP Filing system on your PC or mobile device. After the application is approved, you can enable website access. Log on to your account and click Go to Filing to complete the process.

• If your website server is in the China (Hong Kong) node, you do not need an ICP filing.

  Important

  If you bind a domain name that has an approved ICP filing to a server in the China (Hong Kong) node or other nodes outside mainland China, your ICP filing might be unregistered. Proceed with caution.

2. How many domain names can a website have?

Since April 22, 2019, you can enter only one domain name for each website when you file.

3. My domain name is already filed with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). If I use your Quick Website Builder, do I need to file again?

• If your domain name has an approved ICP filing with Alibaba Cloud and the filing has not been unregistered, you do not need to file again.

• If your domain name was filed through a service provider other than Alibaba Cloud, you must add Alibaba Cloud to the ICP filing information as a service provider. For more information, see Add Alibaba Cloud as your service provider.

4. Can I bind a Baidu domain name to your website building product?

5. Is Public Security filing mandatory?

The rules vary by region. Contact your local authorities to understand the requirements. For specific instructions, see Add a Public Security filing number.

6. The Alibaba Cloud account used for ICP filing is different from the one used to purchase the website building product. How do I file?

Log on to the Alibaba Cloud account that you used to purchase the website building product to obtain a service identification number. Use the service identification number to apply for the ICP filing. For instructions on how to obtain the number, see Apply for a service identification number.

7. How do I retrieve my MIIT ICP filing password?

8. If I file as an individual, can my website display company information?

No, it cannot. The content of a website filed by an individual cannot include company information. If it does, the ICP filing application will be rejected.

9. How do I get a service identification number?

1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Management Console. Move the pointer over ICP Filing and click Get Service Code from the drop-down list.

2. Select Website Building Marketplace. Find the Quick Website Builder product and click Apply in the Actions column.

10. When filing for a website building product, which cloud service do I select?

Select Website Building Marketplace.

11. Network access service provider information

• Name: Alibaba Cloud Computing Co., Ltd.

• Connection type: Leased virtual space or private network.

12. For a drug administration filing, I need the server's physical address. Where can I get it?

The physical address of the website building product server is in Hangzhou. To obtain the specific address, click Submit Ticket. For Ticket Type, select ICP Filing.

13. How long does it usually take for an ICP filing to be approved?

The review time varies by regional communications administration. It usually takes 3 to 20 business days.

14. My ICP filing is complete, but the CDN status still shows "Not filed". Why?

1. Alibaba Cloud typically receives the notification, updates the filing status, and enables domain name access within 7 to 24 hours. If you receive a notification from the MIIT that your filing is approved, wait for Alibaba Cloud to update the status.

2. Check if you have enabled CDN for other Alibaba Cloud products. If you have, a conflict occurs, and you cannot enable CDN for this product.
