Create a product tag dataset

Updated at:

This topic describes how to create a product tag dataset for Product Matching Recommendation.

A tag is an alias for a field that helps you understand its meaning. When you use a tag, you are using the field it represents.

A product tag dataset is a collection of tags related to products. It must contain a product identity and can also include other relevant tags, such as price, category, and color.

    • The product identity is the unique identifier for a product in the dataset.

    • Supported tag types are Enumeration, Text, Numeric, Time, and Multi-value. Text and Numeric types with fewer than 50 unique values are automatically detected as Enumeration.

    • If you select the Multi-value tag type, enter the separator in the box on the right, as shown in the following figure.

    • To set the tag category, click Tag Category Management in the drop-down list. In the dialog box that appears, edit the tag categories. These categories are public to the current workspace. For detailed instructions, see the Tag category management section in Manage tag datasets.

  6. Click Done. In the dialog box that appears, enter a name and save location for the dataset, and then click Confirm. This completes the creation of the product tag dataset.
