You can create SMS notification tasks to send text messages to users. These tasks allow you to insert multiple variables or short links.
Procedure:
Go to Workspace Management > User Marketing > Reach Marketing > SMS.

In the upper-right corner, click Create Send Task to open the Create SMS Task page.
Configure the following parameters:
Task Name: Enter a name to help you identify the purpose of the task.
NoteThe task name does not affect the content of the message.
SMS Platform: From the drop-down list, select the SMS platform to use.
NoteThird-party SMS platforms support variables but do not support short links or short parameters for SMS notifications.
SMS Type: Select Notification.
Signature: From the drop-down list, select an existing signature, Create Signature, or Add Approved Signature. This signature is included in the text message.
When you add an approved signature, do not include the brackets (`【】`). The system automatically adds them to prevent duplication.
NoteYou can add a signature only after it is approved on the corresponding SMS platform. Otherwise, the message will fail to send. You can confirm that your signature is approved in the Alibaba Cloud SMS Console or on the third-party SMS platform. For more information about creating a new signature, see SMS Signature Management.
Template Selection:
Select Existing Template: Select an existing template from the drop-down list.
Create New Template: Enter a template name and edit the message content to use as the template.
NoteA template can be used to send messages only after it is approved by the corresponding SMS platform.
Message Content: This field depends on the selected SMS template. A preview of the message content appears on the right side of the page. Review the preview carefully.
NoteIf you modify the content after selecting a template, this action is equivalent to creating a new template. The new template must be approved before it can be used to send messages.
You can insert any number of variables in the `${name}` format. However, you cannot insert variables into short links.
Recipients: Specify the audience for the text message. Two methods are available:
Select Audience: Click Select Audience and choose an audience that uses mobile numbers as the ID type.
Manual Upload: Upload a CSV or TXT file that contains a list of recipient mobile numbers.
NoteIf you have inserted short parameters or variables into the message content, you can only select an audience. Manual upload is not supported.
Select Labels: This configuration item appears only when the message content includes short parameters or variables.
If the content includes short parameters, their values are based on the mobile number and do not require configuration.
If the content includes variables, click Select Labels. From the source dataset of the selected audience, choose a label field to use for the variable's value. If the field is a time data type, you must also select a display format for the time.
Configure how to handle cases where a user does not have the selected label or the label value is empty:
Do not send: If a user's label value is empty, the message is not sent to that user.
Replace: Replace the variable with the specified text.
Associate Sub-campaign: Select a main campaign, and then select a sub-campaign under that campaign. You can associate the SMS marketing task with multiple sub-campaigns. Independent sub-campaigns are listed under - at the end of the main campaign list. For more information about campaigns, see the Marketing Campaign document.

AES Encryption: Select whether to encrypt the IDs using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES).
If the IDs are encrypted using AES, they must be decrypted before being pushed. Decryption requires an AES key. For more information about AES key configuration, see Organization Settings.
Limit Recipients: For example, if your selected audience has 1,000 users but you only want to send the message to 100, turn on this switch and enter 100. The limit cannot be greater than the size of the selected audience.
Scheduled Send: Turn on this switch to specify a time to send the message. If you schedule the send, you must use an approved SMS template that cannot be modified to ensure a successful delivery.

Click Submit Send Task. In the dialog box that appears, review the task information and click Confirm to create the SMS notification task.
