Activate Cloud Config

Activate Cloud Config to obtain resources across regions and perform compliance auditing.

Background information

Cloud Config obtains read-only permissions on resource configurations in your account. Your cloud services are not affected.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Cloud Config console.

  2. Click Enable Now.

    Alibaba Cloud automatically creates a service-linked role that grants Cloud Config access to other services. Manage the service-linked role.

    Note

    Cloud Config takes 2 to 10 minutes to scan your account resources and generate the resource list.
