Automated data classification

Data Security Center (DSC) automatically identifies and classifies sensitive data using built-in industry templates and customizable detection rules, reducing the manual effort required to maintain data compliance across large datasets.

To classify data, define classification specifications first, then use automated tools to identify sensitive data. DSC provides industry-specific solutions—covering finance, energy, automotive, and other sectors—for identifying sensitive data, including View and configure identification templates. Start with the Legacy industry-specific templates (deprecated), then customize classification templates based on built-in templates to meet your specific requirements.

DSC supports three types of sensitive data detection rules: content recognition, metadata recognition, and dictionary recognition. Combined with regular expressions and include/exclude operators, these rules enable flexible pattern matching across your datasets.
