View security hardening details

After you create a hardening task, you can view its security hardening details.

• Basic information: Displays information about the hardened application, including Application Name, Application Package Name, Application Version, and Application Size (the size of the application before hardening).

• Hardened package: Provides a download link for the hardened package.

  Important

  The hardening process removes the application's signature information. After you download the hardened package, re-sign it. Then, publish the re-signed package to the appropriate marketplace.

• Hardening details: Displays a before-and-after comparison across three dimensions: Application Size, MD5, and Security.

• Hardened classes: Displays the hardened classes and a before-and-after code comparison.

• Hardened So files: Displays the hardened So files.

• Hardened Assets files: Displays the hardened Assets files.

  Note

  If you chose to harden classes, So files, or Assets files when you created the hardening task, the Security Hardening Details page for that task displays the Hardened classes, Hardened So files, and Hardened Assets files sections.

Procedure

You can view the hardening details for tasks with a status of Hardened. You cannot view details for tasks with a status of Hardening or Hardening Failed.

1. Log on to the mPaaS console. In the application list, select the target application.

2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Mobile Application Security > Application Security Hardening.

3. In the security hardening list, click the application name on the card for the target task to open the Security Hardening Details page.

4. (Optional) View the hardened classes, hardened So files, and hardened Assets files. To view the before-and-after code comparison, hover your mouse over the question mark next to Hardened classes.

   Note

   If decompilation fails, the before-and-after code screenshots will be empty.
