Create a MyBase on ECS cluster

To use a MyBase dedicated cluster (Open Version), you must first create a cluster.

Billing

When you create a MyBase on ECS cluster, the system automatically creates the required ECS hosts based on your configuration. You are billed for these ECS hosts. For more information about ECS billing, see ECS Billing overview. Billing for the MyBase cluster begins after the instances are created.

Note

For specific pricing information, refer to the purchase page in the console.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.

  2. Click Create Cluster.

  3. Set the following parameters.

    Parameter

    Description

    Region

    Select the region where the cluster resides.

    Note

    You cannot change the region after the cluster is created.

    Cluster Deployment Type

    Select on ECS.

    Zone

    Select the zone where the cluster resides.

    VPC

    Select the VPC where the cluster resides. If you do not have an available VPC, you can create one in the VPC console. For more information, see Create and manage a VPC.

    vSwitch

    Select the vSwitch where the cluster resides. If you do not have an available vSwitch, you can create one in the VPC console. For more information, see Create and manage a vSwitch.

    Control Service

    Select the control services to install. MyBase provides two control services: Orchestrator and Prometheus.

    Service Role Authorization

    You must grant permissions to the AliyunMyBaseCPaaSDefaultRole service role. If permissions are already granted, no action is required.

    Node Pool

    The ECS instances where the cluster is deployed.

    Click Edit Configuration on the right to set the specifications, storage, and security group for the ECS instances. For more information about ECS configuration, see Create an ECS instance.

    Important

    Ensure that all required parameters for the ECS instances are configured. You cannot create the cluster if any required parameters are missing.

    Host Identity Credentials

    Set the credentials used to log on to the ECS hosts. The following methods are supported:

    • Key Pair: Select a key pair to attach. To create a new key pair, see Create an SSH key pair.

    • Password: Set and confirm the password for the ECS hosts.

    • Set After Creation: Set the host identity credentials after the cluster is created.

    Cluster Name

    Enter a custom name for the MyBase cluster.

  4. Click Create Cluster.
