This topic describes how to restart a node in a MyBase on ACK instance.

Prerequisites

The instance is running.

Precautions

  • You can restart only secondary nodes. To restart a primary node, you must perform a primary/secondary switchover and then restart the node. For more information, see Primary/secondary switchover.

  • The node is unavailable during the restart.

  • Database connections may experience transient disconnections during the restart. Restart the node during off-peak hours and ensure that your application has an automatic reconnection mechanism.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the console, select a region. Find the cluster that you want to manage and click the cluster ID to go to the cluster management page.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.

  4. Find the instance that you want to manage and click the instance ID to go to the Basic Information tab of the instance.

  5. In the Database Engine Nodes section, find the card for the target secondary node, click Operations in the lower-right corner, and select Restart.

  6. In the Restart Instance Node dialog box that appears, click OK.
