This document describes how to manually switch the primary and secondary nodes for a MyBase on ACK instance.
Prerequisites
The instance uses a primary/secondary architecture.
The instance is deployed on ACK.
Notes
During a primary/secondary switchover, the database connection may experience a transient disconnection. Ensure that your application has an automatic reconnection mechanism.
Procedure
Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.
In the upper-left corner of the console, select a region. Find the cluster that you want to manage and click the cluster ID to go to the cluster management page.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.
Find the instance that you want to manage and click the instance ID to go to the Basic Information tab of the instance.
In the Database Engine Nodes section, click Primary/Secondary Switchover.
In the Instance Primary/Secondary Node Switchover dialog box, select the secondary node to promote to the primary node, and click OK.
