Set the proactive reporting sample rate

Remote Log Access uses the proactive reporting sample rate to randomly select devices for log collection.

Prerequisites

Android

You have integrated Remote Log Access as described in the Android SDK Integration document.

iOS

You have integrated Remote Log Access as described in the iOS SDK Integration document.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Remote Log Access > Proactive Reporting.

  2. Next to the current sample rate, click Settings.

  3. Modify the proactive reporting sample rate.

    Note

    This parameter determines the percentage of total devices that report logs. The formula is:

    Proactive reporting sample rate = Number of sampled devices / Total number of devices that use the service

    For example, a value of 0.32 means that 32% of devices are sampled to report logs.

  4. Click Save. The SDK applies the new sample rate on its next startup.
