Manage all public email templates in your organization and set feature permissions for them.
This feature is available only in the AI Premium Edition. For more information about version differences, see Version introduction.
Employees can edit and use public templates only after an administrator assigns them the required permissions.
Template content cannot be modified from the domain admin console. The template administrator must edit the template from the compose page.
Template management
The public template list displays all public templates created by the template administrator. You can delete templates from this list.
You can also modify the user scope for a template.
Permission settings
If this feature is turned off, organization members cannot create public templates.
If this feature is turned on, you can specify which organization members can create public templates.
Existing public templates can still be used after this feature is turned off. To create or modify public templates, you must turn this feature on.
Using templates
A public template administrator can create or edit public templates on the compose page. Only users with the required permissions see the Save as public template option.
Go to the compose page and click View all templates.
Switch to the Public templates tab and click Create template.
Select the scope for the template. You can share it with everyone, specific departments, or specific accounts. You can also keep it for your use only. After you set the scope, click Save template.
After the template is saved, select it and click Use.
