Problem description
The mailbox logon page at `mail.domain_name` (for example, `mail.example.net`) opens, but you cannot enter a username or password. The cursor does not appear in the input fields, which prevents you from logging on.
Cause
This issue occurs because no Alibaba Mail domain record exists for the mailbox domain name, such as `example.net`. Even if the canonical name (CNAME) record for `mail.example.net` points to the Alibaba Mail web logon server and the logon page is accessible, the mailbox itself does not exist. This prevents you from logging on.
Solutions
Choose one of the following methods:
1. If the domain name attached to your mailbox service is `mail.example.net` (meaning the domain suffix is `@mail.example.net`), configure domain name resolution for this third-level domain. For more information, see Alibaba Mail domain name resolution. After the new records take effect, the web logon address is `mail.mail.example.net`.
2. If you want to use `@example.net` as the domain suffix but have `mail.example.net` configured in the management console, change the attached domain name. For more information, see Change the domain name attached to Alibaba Mail. After you change the domain name to `example.net`, log on to your mailbox at `mail.example.net`.
