How to Import The Alibaba Mail Exported Address Book into Outlook Client

Import a CSV address book exported from Alibaba Mail into Outlook to synchronize your contacts from Webmail to your desktop client.

You can export the address book through Webmail and import it into your email client to synchronize contacts.

The following steps use Outlook 2016 as an example.

Export the address book

Import the address book into Outlook

Before you begin, ensure that you have exported your address book from Alibaba Mail as a CSV file.

1. Open Outlook 2016 and select File > Open & Export > Import/Export.

2. In the Import and Export Wizard, select Import from another program or file and click Next.

1. Set the file type to Comma Separated Values and click Next.

1. Click Browse to select the file that you exported, select the appropriate settings from the options, and then click Next.

1. Select Contacts as the destination folder and click Next.

1. Since the exported contacts and Outlook contacts may be in different languages, they must be mapped manually. Click Map Custom Fields to map the email address to an email address. Select a field based on your business requirements and click OK.

1. Click Finish and wait for the import to complete.
