This topic describes how to hide a mailbox account from the company address book.
Procedure
Log on to Alibaba Mail using the postmaster administrator account. In the management console, go to Organization and Users > Employee Accounts. Click the target mailbox account to open the edit page.
Navigate to Feature Permissions > Other and find Visible in Address Book. Turn off the switch to set the status to Not Visible. The mailbox account will no longer appear in the company address book. If you turn on the switch, the status changes to Visible and the account will appear in the company address book for all accounts in the domain.
How employees can view the company address book
Location 1: Click Address Book > Organization Contacts.
Location 2: When composing an email, click the
icon to the right of the Recipient field and select Organization Contacts.
