This topic describes how to attach a security email address. This helps prevent authentication failures if your mobile phone number expires and is not updated in a timely manner.
Most accounts are attached to only one mobile phone number. If you cannot receive text messages while abroad or if your mobile phone number expires, you cannot receive Captchas. This prevents you from changing your password to resolve issues such as a forgotten password or a security risk.
You should set multiple authentication methods. This makes it easier to complete authentication, change your password, and recover your password if you forget it.
You can set a security email address and security questions.
How to attach:
1. Log on to the Alibaba Mail web client. Click the Settings icon in the upper-right corner, and then click Go to Settings.
2. Go to Account and Security > Account Security > Mailbox Security Management. Set the three security questions that you want to attach to your account.
Before you can attach this information, you must have another active method for authentication, such as a mobile phone number, an email address, or your password.
