Domain name registration
A domain name cannot be registered if:
To let a RAM user register or renew a domain name in the console or by using an API, you must configure the required permissions.

The domain name is blacklisted by the MIIT for containing prohibited content (references to political parties, prominent figures, violence, illicit drugs, or pornography) in violation of the Measures for the Administration of Internet Domain Names.

The domain name is subject to litigation, arbitration, or penalties.

The domain name is reserved by the domain name registry.

The domain name contains sensitive terms prohibited by regulatory policies. Follow the naming rules for domain names when choosing a prefix.
If "an ICP filing number already exists for this domain name" appears during registration, the domain was previously registered and the former owner's ICP filing remains active with the MIIT. This does not prevent registration. After registering, cancel the previous filing promptly. Cancel the ICP filing of another entity or a shell entity. ICP filing
If your domain name resolves to a server in the Chinese mainland and hosts services such as a website or email, you must complete an ICP filing. Review the ICP filing requirements before registration to ensure eligibility.
A domain name must meet these requirements for ICP filing:

Real-name verification must be completed at least three days before filing.

The top-level domain (TLD) must be MIIT-approved.

The domain registrar must be MIIT-approved.
