This topic describes the content import feature and how to use it.

Purpose of the content import feature

This feature improves website creation efficiency. You can import content from existing files, such as company and product introductions. The feature supports .doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx, and .pdf files. The content import feature parses the file and splits the content into text, image, and container controls. After a successful import, you can make minor adjustments to quickly design a page.

Note Due to a feature upgrade, the new version cannot parse previously uploaded files. Therefore, you must delete and re-upload any files that were uploaded before 22:00 on January 14, 2020. This lets you use the new, more intelligent version of the feature.

How to use the content import feature

In the designer, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the icon shown in the following figure.
Click Upload File to upload your first file.
Note The maximum size for a single file is 100 MB. The total file storage is unlimited.
After the file is uploaded, the system automatically parses it.
Select the pages that you want to import. You can select specific pages or all of them. Then, click Import.
