Enterprise instances are available in regions outside China
- Enterprise instances are available in the Singapore, Japan (Tokyo), and US (Virginia) regions. They will also be available soon in the US (Silicon Valley) and Germany (Frankfurt) regions.
- The hot data storage feature of DataService Studio for Enterprise instances is also available in these regions.
Resource isolation for RAM user instances
- Enterprise instances support Alibaba Cloud resource groups. You can create Resource Access Management (RAM) users in a resource group and grant them access permissions to IoT Platform to isolate instance resources among users.
- When you purchase an Enterprise instance, select a resource group on the purchase page. You can also transfer the instance to a different resource group in the Alibaba Cloud resource group console.
Four new operators for data parsing
- The data parsing feature of DataService Studio for Enterprise instances now includes four new operators: data aggregation, timeout interpolation, adjacent message calculation, and value conversion. These operators provide greater flexibility for processing device data.
New features for cloud gateways
- Premium instances now support custom device access port numbers for the MQTT and JT/T 808 cloud gateway protocols.
- Premium instances now support external third-party authentication over HTTPS for devices that connect using the MQTT protocol.
