Configure alert contacts

Cloud Monitor sends alert notifications to alert groups by email or DingTalk chatbot message. To receive these notifications, create an alert contact, add the contact to an alert group, and then select the group when you create an alert rule.
Prerequisites
To receive alerts through a DingTalk chatbot, create a DingTalk chatbot (intelligent group assistant) in DingTalk. For more information, see Receive alert notifications in a DingTalk group.
If you want to receive phone calls for alerts, you must purchase Cloud Monitor plans for phone calls.
If you want to receive SMS messages for alerts, you must purchase Cloud Monitor plans for SMS messages.
Procedure
- Create an alert contact. For more information, see Create an alert contact.
- Create an alert group and add the alert contact to the alert group. For more information, see Create an alert contact group.
You can also add alert contacts to an existing alert group. For more information, see Add multiple alert contacts to a group.
