Change the billing method

Important notes

• After you submit a request to change the billing method, the new method takes effect at 00:00 on the day after the current billing cycle ends. The change process may take 1 to 10 minutes.

• After you submit the request, you cannot cancel or modify it before the new billing method takes effect. Proceed with caution.

• Before the new billing method takes effect, you are charged based on the original billing method.

• When you change the billing method for Standard Live Streaming (the acceleration service), the billing method for Real-Time Communication (RTC) also changes accordingly.

• If you switch from pay-by-daily-traffic to pay-by-daily-peak-bandwidth, you can no longer use a resource plan to offset the fees for Standard Live Streaming or Real-Time Communication (RTC). The remaining resources in your plan freeze until you switch back to a traffic-based billing method.

Procedure

1. Log in to the ApsaraVideo Live console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Overview. In the Billing Method section, click Change.

   Click Change next to acceleration service.

3. In the dialog box, click OK. On the Modify Configuration page, select the new billing method, select the ApsaraVideo Live Service Agreement checkbox, then click Buy Now.

4. After the change is successful, the Billing Method section on the Overview page will display the pending billing method and its effective time.
