ApsaraVideo Live accelerates video delivery by using the Global Realtime Transport Network (GRTN). Before you add an acceleration domain to ApsaraVideo Live, read this topic to understand the requirements and limitations and avoid potential issues from non-compliant content.
Onboarding process

Account Verification: Log on to the Alibaba Cloud official website, click Account Verification, and follow the on-screen instructions.

ICP filing: If your services are offered in the Chinese mainland, an ICP filing is required. We recommend that you use the Alibaba Cloud ICP Filing system to complete the filing.

Domain review: ApsaraVideo Live reviews the content on the origin server for your acceleration domain. You can use the storage provided by ApsaraVideo Live or Object Storage Service (OSS) to store your content. If your origin server is not hosted on Alibaba Cloud, you must submit a ticket before you add the domain. For instructions, see Contact us.

Add a CNAME record: Add a CNAME record at your DNS provider to point your domain to the CNAME assigned by ApsaraVideo Live. For instructions, see Configure a CNAME record.
Content review
ApsaraVideo Live reviews all added domains. The service does not support acceleration for content such as:

Inaccessible websites

Websites with no substantive content

Private game servers
-
MMORPGs or online card games
-
Websites that provide pirated software or other unlicensed content for download

Peer-to-peer (P2P) lending or financial websites

Lottery websites
-
Websites related to illegal hospitals or pharmaceuticals

Content related to pornography, drugs, gambling, or other prohibited activities

You are solely responsible for any risks that arise from hosting prohibited content. The ApsaraVideo Live system periodically reviews all domain content. If a violation is found, the system immediately takes the domain offline or blocks it. In severe cases, the system permanently disables the service for the entire Alibaba Cloud account, and this action is irreversible.

If you add a wildcard domain name, such as
`*.aliyundoc.com`, to ApsaraVideo Live for acceleration, and a specific subdomain under it, such as`demo.aliyundoc.com`, hosts prohibited content, ApsaraVideo Live takes the entire wildcard domain name (`*.aliyundoc.com`) offline. -
If your domain is rejected during the review, check the reason in the domain list in the console. After you resolve the issues, resubmit the domain for review. For more information, see What to do if your domain fails to be added.
