OOS itself is free. Charges come from the Alibaba Cloud services called within your executions, billed according to each service's own pricing.
When an execution runs, it may invoke other Alibaba Cloud services — such as Elastic Compute Service (ECS), Object Storage Service (OSS), or ApsaraDB RDS — and those services bill you directly based on their own pricing models.

How charges arise
OOS acts as an orchestration layer. It coordinates tasks and calls Alibaba Cloud APIs on your behalf. The cost of running an execution depends entirely on which services are invoked and how much of each service is consumed, not on the number of executions or steps in OOS itself.
For example, if a template creates an ECS snapshot, you are charged for the snapshot storage according to ECS pricing. OOS adds no surcharge.
Check pricing for invoked services
To estimate the cost of an execution, check the billing documentation for each Alibaba Cloud service your template invokes. Each service's billing overview describes its pricing dimensions and free tiers, if any.
