Deploy BT-Panel using an application image-Simple Application Server(SAS)-阿里云帮助中心

BT-Panel is a powerful and easy-to-use software for managing servers and websites. It lets you configure WNMP, WAMP, websites, databases, FTP, and SSL with a single click and manage servers from a web-based interface. This topic describes how to set up BT-Panel for Windows using an application image.

Procedure

Important

If you have already purchased a Simple Application Server instance, you can deploy BT-Panel by resetting the server. Resetting the server clears all data on the system disk. Back up your data as needed. For more information, see Reset a simple application server.

Step 1: Deploy BT-Panel

Go to the Servers page in the Simple Application Server console.
In the middle of the page, click Create Server.

On the Simple Application Server page, follow the prompts to configure the resources. The following table describes the configuration items.

Note

The available images and plans may vary based on the region and instance type. The options on the purchase page in the console take precedence.

Configuration item	Example	Description
Servers	Instance family: General-purpose CNY 56/month	Select an instance family: Options include general-purpose, Multi-IP, International, and Large-capacity. Instance families. Select a plan: Click to view more plans. Each plan bundles vCPUs, memory, a system disk, and a data transfer plan. Instance specifications. Important To create a Windows instance, select a plan that provides a system disk larger than 40 GiB.

Region	Singapore	Select a region close to your target users to reduce network latency. You cannot change the region after the instance is created. Important Instances in regions outside the Chinese mainland, such as China (Hong Kong) and Singapore, use international bandwidth, which may cause high latency from within the Chinese mainland. Select the region closest to your target users. Regions and network connectivity.
Purchase Settings	Quantity: 1 Duration: 1 Month	Quantity: the number of instances to purchase. Default: 1. Duration: the subscription duration. Default: 1 month. Important Instances hosting web services in the Chinese mainland require an ICP filing with a subscription duration of 3 months or longer (including renewals). Domain name filing. Monthly subscription: 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months. Yearly subscription: 1 year, 2 years, or 3 years. Enable Auto-renewal is enabled by default to prevent disruptions from expired subscriptions. Auto-renewal. For monthly subscriptions, the renewal period is one month. For yearly subscriptions, the renewal period is one year.

After you complete the configuration, click Buy Now and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment.

After you complete the payment, click Go to Management Console. Find the Simple Application Server instance on the server card list. The BT-Panel installation is complete when the instance status changes from Pending to Running.

Step 2: Log on to BT-Panel

On the server card, click the BT-Panel server name to open the Server Overview page.
Click the Application Details tab to add a rule that allows traffic on port 8888 for BT-Panel and obtain the logon credentials.

Instructions:
1. In area ① of the figure, click One-Click Enable to add a firewall rule for the default BT-Panel port 8888. This rule allows traffic from 0.0.0.0/0 by default, which permits access from all IPv4 addresses.
  
  Note
  If you have high security requirements, you can modify the rule to allow access only from a specific IP address or CIDR block. For more information, see Modify a firewall rule.
2. In area ② of the figure, click Quick View. In the Quick View dialog box, obtain the username and password for BT-Panel.
  
  Save the username and password to your computer for future logons.
  
  Note
  To change the username and password later, you can remotely log on to the BT-Panel server to make the changes. For more information, see Q1: How do I change the username, password, and other information for BT-Panel?.
3. In area ③ of the figure, retrieve the panel's home page address: http://47.96.XX.XX:8888/login.
Log on to BT-Panel.
1. In a browser, enter the BT-Panel home page address: http://47.96.XX.XX:8888/login.
2. Enter the username and password for BT-Panel and click Logon. Follow the prompts to access the panel.

Attach your BT-Panel account.

After you log on, you must attach your BT-Panel account to use the features of BT-Panel for Windows. If you do not have an account, click Create Account, complete the registration, and then attach it.

Note
The account you register here is used to log on to the BT-Panel Membership Hub. This account cannot be used to log on to the panel management page.
After attaching your BT-Panel account, read and accept the agreement, and then click Enter Panel.
In the Recommended Installation Suite dialog box, you can install software as needed.

Q1: How do I change the username, password, and other information for BT-Panel?

Remotely connect to the Simple Application Server instance where BT-Panel is located. For more information, see Remotely connect to a Windows server.
On the Windows desktop, double-click the icon.
In the BT-Panel Windows Toolbox dialog box, change the username, password, or other information, and then click Save Settings.
