If you purchased an SMS package, you can set a low quota alert and enable automatic renewal. This prevents extra pay-as-you-go bills from being generated if you continue to send text messages after your package is used up or has expired.
Purchase a package
Log on to the Short Message Service console.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose to view your remaining package quota.
In the upper-right corner of the page, select a package type from the Purchase Package drop-down list.
For more information about package billing, see Domestic SMS packages and International SMS packages.
ImportantBefore you purchase card message packages or digital message packages, confirm that the features are enabled for your account.
Set a low quota alert for your package
In the upper-right corner of the page, click Low Quota Alert Settings and set an alert threshold. When the threshold is reached, the system sends a text message alert to the preset contacts.
Auto-renewal
When you enable auto-renewal for a Domestic SMS package, the system automatically purchases a new package. The cost is deducted from your account balance. The purchase is triggered when your remaining message count reaches a configured threshold, or 10 days before your current package expires.
Auto-renewal applies only to Domestic SMS packages.
The discounted price and validity period for auto-renewal are specified on the auto-renewal configuration page. For more information about auto-renewal discounts, see Package Pricing.
You can disable auto-renewal at any time.
You can set up auto-renewal in several ways. Choose the one that works best for you:
