Short Message Service provides a dedicated DingTalk group feature. This feature supports review notifications, alert message push, and quick operations. Before you can use this feature, you must grant authorization and create a dedicated DingTalk group in the Short Message Service console.

Create a dedicated DingTalk group: After you grant authorization, create a dedicated DingTalk group for Short Message Service.
Use the dedicated DingTalk group: Use the dedicated DingTalk group to request SMS signatures and templates, receive real-time review results, query remaining package quotas, and view sending volume statistics.
Set up and authorize a DingTalk group
In the Short Message Service console, go to the General Settings > Domestic Messages > DingTalk Group Settings tab and follow these steps:
Set subscribed message types: By default, all message types are subscribed to.

Set up DingTalk group authorization: Click Grant Authorization. After you grant the authorization, you can perform quick operations and receive notifications in the DingTalk group.
NoteRevoke authorization:
You only need to authorize each account once. To revoke the authorization, click Cancel on the DingTalk Group Settings page. Then, delete the AliyunServiceRoleForDysmsDing role on the Roles page.
After you revoke the authorization, the quick operations for Short Message Service in the DingTalk group become unavailable.
Set group members and roles: Send the DingTalk group QR code to members to invite them to the dedicated group. In the Short Message Service console, you can set roles and operation permissions for group members.

Create a dedicated DingTalk group
Obtain the DingTalk group QR code.
Method 1: You can obtain the DingTalk group QR code on the right side of the Overview page in the Short Message Service console.

Method 2: On the General Settings > Domestic Messages > DingTalk Group Settings tab in the Short Message Service console, obtain the DingTalk group QR code.

Use DingTalk or AliDing to scan the QR code from the console. Fill in the required information and submit the request.

After the request is approved, the dedicated DingTalk group for Short Message Service is created.

DingTalk group plug-in for quick operations: You can perform the following quick operations in the DingTalk group.
SMS signature
View lists of signatures that are under review, approved, or rejected.
Request a signature. For more information, see Request an SMS signature.

SMS template
View lists of templates that are under review, approved, or rejected.
Request a template. For more information, see Request an SMS template.
NoteThe DingTalk group service does not support requests for promotional SMS templates. You can request promotional SMS templates in the Short Message Service console or by calling an API operation.

SMS package
View the remaining quota and details of your package.
Click Purchase.

SMS sending volume
View detailed data on sent text messages.
Query reasons for sending failures
You can view failed and in-progress sending tasks and query the reasons for sending failures.

View real-time messages in the DingTalk group: The DingTalk bot sends real-time messages to your group. These messages include review results for SMS signatures and templates, and alerts for sending volume limits.
NoteIf an SMS signature or template is rejected, click View and Modify to edit and resubmit it for review.
