Carrier response error codes

Updated at:

This topic describes common error codes returned by carriers.

Note

A 200 status code from the carrier indicates that the API call and the voice call are successful.

After a successful API call, the carrier asynchronously returns the following error codes to indicate the voice call status:

200005

Callee unreachable

Possible reasons include the following:

  • Carrier issues.

  • The callee's phone has an anti-spam mode enabled, which automatically rejects or hangs up the call.

  • The outbound number from the public number pool used in the common pattern is marked as a spam call. This increases the chance of the call being blocked. To reduce this probability, purchase a real number and use the dedicated pattern for outbound calls.
