1. What metrics does Apsara Devops provide?

Apsara DevOps provides metrics for projects, code, and pipelines (Apsara Stack). For more information, see Metric Library.

2. Why does some data in my report not change after I change the time range?

The time range affects only statistics that show trends over time or totals for a specific period. If a metric card shows current inventory or status, the data reflects the current state and does not change with the time range.

3. Why can't I view the workload?

The workload feature lets you view the workload of any member in the organization. Performance Insights administrators can view this information without restrictions.

Regular members can view only the workload of members in user groups that are shared with them. If no user groups are shared with you, you cannot view the workload module.

4. When counting work items for a project, are work items shared with the project included?

No, they are not. Work items are counted based on the project to which they belong. Shared work items are not included in the count.

5. Is the data in Performance Insights real-time?

The data is not updated in real time. Code-related statistics are updated daily at midnight. Other types of data are updated approximately every 5 minutes.

6. Cannot select a code repository in a code metrics report

In a code metrics report, you can select only the code repositories for which you have data viewing permissions and for which data statistics authorization is enabled:

• Permission: When you create a report, Performance Insights administrators and organization administrators can select any authorized code repository within the organization. Regular members can select only the authorized code repositories for which they have permissions.

• Data statistics authorization: To view code metrics, you must enable the reporting feature in Apsara DevOps Codeup. For more information, see Enable the service.

• Data timeliness: Code metrics data is available on a T+1 basis.

7. Why is code contribution data for some people not counted?

Code contributions are counted only when the email address in your local git config matches the primary email address associated with your server-side account. To ensure the accuracy of the report data, confirm the following:

1. The email address in your local git config matches the primary email address associated with your account on the platform.

2. Statistics related to commit times are based on your local system time. Ensure your local time is set correctly.
