Restore acceleration service
This topic describes how to restore the acceleration service for a domain name after the service is disabled.
Background information
CDN disables a domain name's acceleration service in the following situations.
|
Deactivation type |
Reason |
Description |
|
Manual deactivation |
Manual deactivation |
You disabled the acceleration service in the console or by calling an OpenAPI operation. |
|
Automatic deactivation |
Content violation |
The system takes your accelerated domain name offline or blocks it if your website content violates Alibaba Cloud's content moderation requirements. For more information, see Limits. |
|
Overdue payment |
An overdue payment occurs when your account's available credit, which includes your balance, vouchers, and coupons, is insufficient to pay your bills. In this case, CDN disables the acceleration service for all your domain names. For more information, see Overdue payments. |
|
|
Expired ICP filing |
If a domain name is accelerated in the Chinese mainland, an expired ICP filing disables the acceleration service. |
|
|
Bandwidth cap |
The service is disabled if the bandwidth of the accelerated domain name reaches the configured bandwidth cap. |
Procedure
To restore the acceleration service, identify the deactivation reason in the Background information section.
If your domain name is blocked for content violations, an overdue payment, or an expired ICP filing, the system notifies you by text message or email.
Resolve the issue
If the service was automatically deactivated, you must resolve the underlying issue before you can re-enable it.
Content violation
If your site content does not violate any rules in the Limits, or if you have removed the non-compliant content, submit a ticket to unblock the domain name. You can then re-enable the service. For more information, see Contact us.
Overdue payment
If your payment is overdue by less than one month, the acceleration service automatically resumes after you pay the outstanding bill. If the payment is overdue by more than one month, the service is not automatically restored. You must first pay the bill and then manually reconfigure the acceleration policy. For more information, see Top up your account using Alipay or online banking.
Expired ICP filing
If the acceleration region is the Chinese mainland, you must re-apply for an ICP filing before you can re-enable the service. For more information, see ICP filing.
Bandwidth cap
By default, if a domain's bandwidth exceeds the bandwidth cap and later falls below it, CDN does not automatically restore the service. You must manually enable the domain name in the CDN console to restore the acceleration service.
Re-enable the acceleration service
After you manually deactivate the service or resolve an issue that caused automatic deactivation, follow these steps to re-enable the acceleration service.
-
Log on to the CDN console.
-
In the left navigation pane, click Domain Names.
-
On the Domain Names page, select the domain name and click Enable.
