Integrate Alibaba Cloud ApsaraDB RDS

Updated at:

Integrate metrics and logs from ApsaraDB RDS into CloudMonitor 2.0 to observe your RDS instances.

Prerequisites

Limitations

  • If you use a RAM user for the integration, you must grant the AliyunCloudMonitorFullAccess system policy and the AliyunLogArchiveRole role to the RAM user.

  • See MySQL Feature Overview, PostgreSQL Feature Overview, and SQL Server Feature Overview for the ApsaraDB RDS instance types that support the SQL Audit feature.

  • Error logs and slow query logs are supported only for MySQL and PostgreSQL instances.

  • If you stop collecting ApsaraDB RDS audit logs, you must manually disable SQL Explorer and Audit in the ApsaraDB RDS console.

    • Second-level monitoring: Integrates second-level metrics from the cloud service. Enabled by default.

  4. After the integration, you can view entities and their observable data on the Entity Explorer or Database Observability page.
