Introduction to the Cloud Intelligence app

About the Cloud Intelligence app

The Cloud Intelligence app is a non-branded application named Cloud Intelligence. The app logo is shown below.

The Cloud Intelligence app is available in Global, Mainland China, and International editions. It also has a Developer Mode. These options are described below.

• Global Edition

  You can scan the QR code below to download the Global Edition of the Cloud Intelligence app. You can also download it by searching for "Cloud Intelligence" in major global app stores.

  When you scan the QR code, iOS users are automatically redirected to the App Store. For Android users, the installation package is downloaded directly.

  
• Mainland China Edition

  The Mainland China Edition of the Cloud Intelligence app is for users in the Chinese mainland. You can scan the QR code below to download it or search for "Cloud Intelligence" in major app stores in the Chinese mainland.

  When you scan the QR code, iOS users are redirected to the Apple App Store in China, and Android users are redirected to Tencent My App.

  
• International Edition

  The International Edition of the Cloud Intelligence app is for users in countries and regions outside the Chinese mainland, including Hong Kong (China), Macao (China), and Taiwan (China). You can scan the QR code below to download it or search for "Cloud Intelligence" in the Google Play Store.

  When you scan the QR code, iOS users are redirected to international Apple App Stores, and Android users are redirected to Google Play.

• Developer Mode

  Developer Mode is used by developers to debug devices during the development phase. To enter Developer Mode, download any edition of the Cloud Intelligence app (Global, Mainland China, or International) and scan the QR code below.

  Note On the Cloud Intelligence app homepage, tap the + icon in the upper-right corner and scan the QR code below. The app enters Developer Mode when the Enter debug mode message appears.

  In Developer Mode, you can view app logs and debug the app. To exit Developer Mode, go to About > Exit debug mode in the app.

  
  Note

  For iOS, after you install the developer version of the app, you must trust the developer. To do this, go to Settings > General > Device Management > Taobao (China) Software Co.,Ltd > Cloud Intelligence, and tap Trust.

  

The app stores and required system versions for the Cloud Intelligence app are listed in the following table.

Cloud Intelligence app workflow

During device development, you can use the Cloud Intelligence app in Developer Mode to debug your devices. The workflow is as follows.

1. Create a project and a product, and define the product features in the console. For more information, see Overview.
2. Turn on the control switch for the Cloud Intelligence app. For more information, see HCI overview.
3. Configure the app parameters. Select Product Panel, Multi-language Management, and Network Provisioning Guide are required parameters. For more information, see App configuration rules.
4. Scan the QR code to download the Cloud Intelligence app. For the QR code, see the About the Cloud Intelligence app section of this document.
5. Scan the network provisioning QR code to attach the device and then debug it. For the QR code, see Get the network provisioning QR code.
6. After you successfully debug the device, proceed to the mass production stage. You can also prepare the product manual. For more information, see Download product manual.

   For products on the Alibaba Cloud China Website (www.aliyun.com), after the product name is approved during mass production, the product appears in its category in the Cloud Intelligence app. The product is then listed and becomes visible to consumers.

7. Sell your device.

   After consumers purchase the device, they can scan the QR code in the product manual to download the Cloud Intelligence app, provision the network, and attach the device.
