When your Alibaba Mail service is about to expire, you will receive renewal reminders by email and text message. This document describes how to renew your service.
Procedure
1. Log on to the Alibaba Mail console using the Alibaba Cloud account that you used to purchase the Alibaba Mail service. (Forgot the Alibaba Cloud account for mailbox renewal?)
2. Select the mailbox that you want to renew, click the Renew button, select a renewal duration, and then click Go to Pay. The renewal is complete after the payment is successful.
Alternatively, you can add funds to your Alibaba Cloud account to complete the renewal. For more information, see Add funds to an Alibaba Cloud account.
Only paid editions of Alibaba Mail can be renewed.
If you purchased your domain name from Alibaba Cloud (Wanwang), log on to the Domain Names console to check whether it has expired. If you do not renew an expired domain name promptly, your mailbox service will be affected.
You can renew your mailbox within 30 days after it expires. After this period, the mailbox is deleted and its data cannot be recovered. If more than 30 days have passed since expiration, you must purchase a new mailbox.

Notes on the auto-renewal service for Alibaba Mail:
If your account balance is sufficient to cover the renewal fee, the system automatically deducts the fee 3 days before your service expires. Add funds to your account balance in advance to prevent auto-renewal failure.
You can also manually renew the service. The auto-renewal setting remains enabled after a manual renewal.
If auto-renewal fails due to an insufficient balance, you must manually renew the service within 30 days after it expires. After this period, the service is deleted.
