This topic describes how to manage your Content Delivery Network (CDN), including how to upgrade your CDN data plan, connect your Alibaba Cloud CDN, and download CDN traffic logs.

CDN traffic management

  1. From the website admin console homepage, click Site Management > My Sites > CDN Management.

The CDN Management page contains two tabs: CDN Management and CDN Traffic Logs. A blue notification bar at the top displays your total and remaining CDN traffic. Click + Add Domain to add a domain for CDN acceleration.

  2. Upgrade CDN traffic

    1. Activate Alibaba Cloud CDN

On the CDN Management page, activate your Alibaba Cloud CDN.

      • If you have not configured the Alibaba Cloud API, click Configure Alibaba Cloud API. The page shows that the total CDN traffic is 300 GB and the remaining traffic is 300 GB. If you exceed this limit, access to your website will be restricted. In step 1 of the on-page guide, click Configure Alibaba Cloud API to configure an API account and ensure it has the required DNS and CDN permissions. In the left navigation pane, select Alibaba Cloud API Configuration, enter your Access Key ID and Access Key Secret, and then click Save. For security, we recommend using a RAM user and granting it permissions only for SMS, Video, and CDN services.

      • Click Activate CDN. After activation, you are redirected to the Alibaba Cloud console.

      • Click Alibaba Cloud Authorization to grant full management and read-only access permissions for CDN.

In the permission policy search box, enter cdn, select AliyunCDNFullAccess and AliyunCDNReadOnlyAccess, and then click Confirm Authorization.

      • Click Add Domain. A dialog box appears, prompting you to add a domain.

After adding the domain, the system automatically generates a CNAME record and its value, and enables HTTPS.

  3. Download CDN traffic logs

Navigate to Site Management > CDN Management > CDN Traffic Logs to view and download logs from the last 7 days.

Log data is usually available within 24 hours, although longer delays are possible.
